In which the Moon Goddess cruelly picks Rafe Cameron to be your soulmate.

You’d only come to this side of the island for two reasons: Sarah Cameron and your job at the country club. The rest of your time was spent with your friends in The Cut. The bars there had much better company. You dealt with Kooks enough, working as a beverage cart girl on the golf course. It was difficult for you to hold your tongue around them, that’s why you’d almost been fired twice, but luckily, your boss was a former Pogue who had a soft spot for you. 

The only way you’d entered the Alpha of Kildare’s house, Tannyhill, so far was through a window. Sarah hadn’t wanted to introduce you to her family yet, but today, he actually asked you to come to the front door. Her stepmom Rose answered the door, and Sarah introduced the two of you. Although Rose had a smile on her face throughout the short introduction, it was clear she disapproved of Sarah’s taste in friends. You met Wheezie too, who was much more welcoming. 

Although you were a Beta, you didn’t come from good stock. Your Dad became a Rogue not long after you were born, and your mother was always so depressed that you practically raised yourself. Although Sarah was an Alpha, her family saw her more as a bargaining chip to eventually be married off to the Alpha of another pack. Everyone assumed that her oldest brother would be the one to take over Kildare. 

Up in her room, Sarah quickly introduced you to her bed. You and Sarah were good friends ninety percent of the time when she and John B. were going strong, but the other ten percent when she and John B. were on the rocks, the two of you were much more than friends. Apparently, they’d gotten into a big fight last night, and, at first, you listened to her complain about how he hadn’t been making enough time for her lately.

“His deal is that he won’t invest more into us until we’re officially mated or whatever. But we’re so young, you know?”

“Sarah …what’s the real reason?”

She sighed, shaking her head, “It is because we’re young. I know we’re going to be together at the end of … all of this. But maybe I just don’t want to piss off my Dad just yet. He’d kick me out …”

“And then you’d be a full-on Pogue,” You finished for her, “I guess I get it. This house is insane.”

Sarah was needy, and oftentimes, she needed intense passion and adventure to feel loved. Once she finished venting, there was a change in her eyes as her mood shifted. From longing and sadness toward lust. 

You never liked Alphas, maybe that’s why you didn’t care about getting on John B’s bad side, but Sarah was different. She didn’t carry around a dark aura of corruption or force her will on others. She knew what she wanted all the time, and she was always willing to work to get it. 

You laid beside her, heads pressed against the pillows of her bed. She placed a hand on your waist and batted her long eyelashes at you. Slowly, her hands wandered underneath your t-shirt, “Would you want to sleep over?” She leaned closer, her voice soft, “I don’t think I want to be alone tonight.”

“Sure,” You answered as she leaned in to press her soft, full lips onto yours. The grip on your waist grew tighter as she pulled you closer. Although Sarah was an Alpha, she didn’t crave dominating you. You liked that she saw you as an equal. When she kissed you, she did it for both her pleasure and yours. 

She felt you up, massaging your breasts through your bra as the two of you made out. 

Hooking up with Sarah Cameron often involved a heavy makeout session followed by dry humping. Sarah liked to be on top because, you imagined, she liked the attention. She could work magic with her hips and wanted you to hold her waist as she did. You also had a perfect view of her from this angle. She pushed her dirty-blonde hair from her face, smirking down at you. 

“Have you ever been in heat, Y/N?” She asked. 

You thought about her question, “Not the typical kind, and it might happen once or twice a year.”

“What does it feel like?”

You frowned, “You feel weak like you don’t have control of your own body. And it makes me lack the ability to make good decisions. Remember when I hooked up with that Touron just because I thought his car was cool? Yeah, that was my heat.”

Sarah laughed, “I’m so glad you didn’t get knocked up.”

“You and me both,” you smiled at her. 

You stared at each other for a moment before Sarah leaned back down to kiss you. However, a pounding on the door interrupted you two. “Sarah! Sarah Cameron,” A deep voice sang from the other side of the door. As your heart jumped out of your chest, Sarah crawled off of you. She grabbed ahold of her shirt, trying to turn her shirt the right way around so she could put it on. 

You moved to fix your hair, but the door opened just as Sarah shouted, “Don’t come in!” 

“Sarah, why are there scratches on my truck?” The tall man narrowed his eyes on Sarah. His scent was strong, overpowering almost, and you felt a cloud of worry over you at the sight of him. You were distracted for a moment, the air had gone out of your lungs, but you remembered to fix the spaghetti straps on your top. 

“What are you talking about? I didn’t scratch your truck, Rafe!”

He rolled his eyes, “Oh yeah, why’d I find your damn bike right next to it. I told you to be careful, I don’t understand why you’re so hard-headed, you know? You’re going to pay to get it fixed.”

Sarah was the one rolling her eyes, “You’re insane if you think I’m doing that. I’m telling you, it wasn’t me.”

“And I’m supposed to believe you. All you do is lie, Sarah,” At the word lie his eyes finally landed on you, taking you in. Scenting you, no doubt, “This your friend? John B. know how many friends you have?”

“Screw you,” She hissed. 

You knew Rafe because everyone did. You knew what he was like mostly because of a girl you work with, an Omega named Sofia. He was like most Alphas, who preferred an Omega mate because they craved control, and he seemed like to type to pick someone purely based on how fertile they were. Sarah rarely talked about her own brother, and you were beginning to understand why. 

“I know you,” His eyes narrowed at you before he could place where he remembered you, “Cart girl.”

“Whiskey neat,” You responded, remembering what he always ordered. You also remembered he usually tipped well, even if he barely made eye contact with you. 

“Her name is Y/N.”

“You have some type of fetish for Pogues?” She scoffed, “You blow my mind, you really do.”

She lunged forward, pushing his chest, “Get out!” She commanded. He was clearly angry but wouldn’t challenge her further. He stepped back, turning on his heels, and she slammed the door as soon as he was in the hallway. 

“Ugh,” She groaned, her fists clenching, “I’m sorry, he’s . . . he’s rude and horrible.”

“I can see that,” You grabbed ahold of her hand as she climbed back on the bed. You attempted to calm her down, rubbing circles in her palm, “I’ve got thick skin, don’t worry.”

“You know you’re not just a hook-up, right?” Sarah looked at you, sincerity in her gaze. 

“Yeah,” You nodded, “Usually, for me, hooking up implies sex. We clearly haven’t done that.”

Her eyes darkened, and a mischievous smile grew on your face, “Oh, that’s my fault,” Sarah leaned in, “I didn’t want to scare you off, but …I wanna fuck that shit out of you, Y/N.”

“I’m all yours, Alpha,” You teased her, and that was the final straw before Sarah Cameron wrapped her arms around you and didn’t let you go for the entire night. 

You arrived at the bonfire by the beach later than all your friends. You were trying to catch up with them, already on your third hard seltzer, and the buzz was quickly setting in. You were hesitant to go to a bonfire with both Kooks and Pogues invited, but so far, the night had been civil. There was a clear segregation, with a lot of the Kooks at the top of the beach by the dunes and a lot of the Pogues closer to the water. You were currently watching JJ and Pope wrestle each other in the sand. 

You bet 10 dollars on Pope winning while Kie was dead set on her boyfriend winning, “JJ has had like 8 beers. He literally becomes the Hulk when he’s shit-faced.”

“So? Pope is way smarter, though,” You retorted, “He’ll figure out a way to win.”

“You got me there,” You and Kie laughed together. 

Whenever you thought Pope might tap out, you screamed at him to keep going. It was an intense battle, but before the two of you knew it, Pope had kicked JJ’s feet from under him. JJ fell back into the shallow water, clearly hitting his head, “Shit,” You and Kie cursed simultaneously before you ran towards them. 

“You okay, JJ?” You kneeled down, looking down at his glazed-over eyes, “Did you pass out?”

Slowly, he shook his head, “Nah,” he groaned, “Pope just took the wind out of me.”

“You better not have a concussion,” Kie told him. 

After knowing JJ was fine, you cleared your throat, “No rush, of course, but I’ll be waiting for my ten bucks.”

“Yeah, whatever,” You heard Kie say, but you were already celebrating with Pope. 

As the rest of the night went on, you drank a little bit more than your normal limit. You were having the time of your life hanging out by the water and catching up with the people you hadn’t seen since graduation. 

You were standing by the fire, red solo cup in your hand, when you felt a hard tap on your shoulder, “Where’s Sarah?” A shrill voice asked, and you turned around to be met with the snarling face of a preppy, black-haired Kook. 

“What?” Your eyebrows furrowed. 

“Sarah Cameron?” She shrieked again, “Where is she? I know you know her, and I know she’s here!”

You looked around you, all of your friends now staring at you, “I know her, yeah, but you might have some vision problems because she’s clearly not here.”

You recognized the girl from the Glisson family, one of the most prominent families on the island. 

You moved to turn back towards the fire but the feral Kook was still yelling, “Fine, I need you to give her a message—”

Maybe it was the liquor but the sound of her voice was starting to make your blood boil. She was not respecting your personal space and she seemed entitled to your attention, “Do I look like her fucking assistant?”

“Y/N,” You heard Pope’s voice, “She’s plastered.”

You rolled your eyes at the warning. 

“Tell that bitch to stop running her mouth about me, especially to her brother. I am …I am not a whore. She’s the whore,” So this is what the Glisson girl was on about. Sarah had told Rafe she wasn’t the innocent virgin she claimed to be, “She’s the one with low standards, who fucks dirty Pogues, and pretends like she’s a good girl.”

You took a breath and stared back at the girl, “What did you say your name was?”

“Uh,” The girl was taken aback for a moment, “Madison Glisson, you can tell her the message was from me. And that she’ll be sorry when I am Luna of her pack.”

“Madison,” You smiled, “You got it. I’ll tell Sarah that you called her a dirty whore, and then I’ll tell her I beat your ass–”

As you tackled the girl to the ground, your friends began to shout your name in unison. Your drink spilled all over her, thankfully, and you quickly had the upper hand. Sand scratched you wrestled to hold her down. You’d already sniffed out that she was a Beta, and she was able to put up a fight once she got her bearings, but you were already whaling at her face, “You dumb bitch,” You shouted, “Who do you think you’re talking to, huh?” She screamed, trying to scratch and grab at your clothes. 

Your anger was partially because you felt protective of Sarah, but you also felt the girl had made a direct attack on your character and friends. You weren’t perfect, Sarah definitely wasn’t, but neither of you acted like you were. 

“Y/N, someone's going to call the cop!” You heard Kie shout. 

Hands grabbed your waist, and initially, you thought it might be Pope or JJ, but the touch sent heat over your skin. The person lifted you easily, and you thrashed in their arms until you felt a  sudden sense of calmness. As you were set down a few feet away from the fire, you locked eyes with Rafe Cameron. Your eyes grew impossibly wide, knowing that an Alpha’s touch should not feel like this, “You won, okay?” He said, lips parted and breathing heavily. His eyes were wide, too, looking down at you, “Wha …”

He pulled his hands from you, and that heat lingered on your waist. He stared at his ringed fingers, examining them, “W-What was that?” You finished, “Don’t …don’t touch me again.”

Rafe stood, backing away. With each step he took, there was an ache in your chest.

“Uh, Y/N, the cops are coming! We have to go!” You stumbled to your feet before you and your three friends ran in the opposite direction, away from Rafe Cameron. 

Unfortunately, according to pack law, only Alphas can challenge other Alphas. Therefore, your case fell under the jurisdiction of Kildare County’s law enforcement. The Glisson’s pressed charges, of course, and you were facing a simple battery charge. The worst part was that they caught you on Friday night, which meant you had to spend the entire weekend in jail. You weren’t expecting anyone to put up any money for your bail, but it was just another shitty layer to your problem. 

You weren’t looking forward to groveling and begging for your job back. You also knew word would get around and that the Kooks would gossip about your drunken mistake. 

On Monday, you were surprised someone covered the entirety of your three-thousand-dollar bond. When you walked out of the jail in your dirty beach clothes, Rafe Cameron was certainly the last person you expected to see waiting for you.  He usually expressed only indifference towards you, but he almost seemed…concerned, “Sarah sent you?” You asked immediately. 

He shook his head, “Uh, no, I’m here for you,” He was backed against his large truck, his arms crossed in defense, “Because you did something so stupid."

“Excuse me?” You raised an eyebrow, “Whatever, I don’t want to know, goodbye.”

Swiftly, faster than you could comprehend, he grabbed your wrist. You yelped, quickly pulling your hand away. You remembered that electric feeling from the night on the beach, “I told you not to touch me,” You rushed out. 

“Get in the car, I can explain, Y/N.”

“No!”

“Listen, I feel it too,” He said, which made you pause, “If you get in the car, I can explain what’s going on.”

“Sarah didn’t send you?”

“No one knows you’re out except me. And I haven’t seen her; she’s probably scheming with the other Pogues to raise your bail money.”

You rubbed your temples, “I need to call them.”

You realized then that you must’ve lost your phone during the fight. By now, if no one stole it, your phone had gone out with the tide. 

“You can use my phone if you get in,” He offered. 

“If you try anything–” Rafe was already opening up the passenger side door. 

“Get in,” With a deep sigh, you climbed inside of his truck. 

This was a bad idea, although you were on a roll when it came to making bad decisions. Besides, you were curious about this sudden connection you and Rafe were experiencing. It was nothing good, that you were sure of, but you needed to figure out how to stop it. 

You were also sure he was working some Alpha voodoo on you. Rafe’s scent fully enveloped you inside the car, giving you that similar soothing feeling. When you tried to raise your defenses, to hone your heightened senses, you failed. You could barely concentrate on anything other than his smell. 

“Phone?” You asked after the truck pulled off. 

Although he seemed annoyed, Rafe pulled out his expensive phone, and typed in the password for you. Despite the fact that Sarah was confused as to why you were calling from her asshole brother’s phone, she was relieved to hear your voice. She and John B. had just entered a pawn shop, trying to sell some of her jewelry in order to raise money. You assure her that you’re okay and that Rafe is going to drop you at your house. 

You didn’t let her interrogate you for long because you had some interrogating to do yourself.

“Go ahead, explain yourself,” You said. 

“I’ve been, uh, questioning myself. You know, asking myself what kind of pack leader I’m going to be. How I’m going to live up to my Dad’s expectations and, uh, everything is becoming a lot clearer to me,” You stared with furrowed eyes, “Anyways, whatever, I realized, after I touched you that night on the beach, that we’re mates. True mates.”

“True mates …” You were already shaking your head, “What does that even mean?”

“Soulmates, Y/N!” Rafe gripped the wheel tightly, “Like hand-picked by the moon goddess kind of mates.”

“You and me?” You laughed. 

“I’m not lying,” Rafe grabbed ahold of your hand roughly. Your breathing quickened, and your eyes locked with his. Every muscle in your body was telling you to focus on him, to look at him and let him gaze upon you. 

“We’ll break the bond then,” You spoke through gritted teeth. 

Rafe let go of you, focusing his eyes back on the road, “That would be … extremely painful. For the both of us.” 

“I’m sure you would rather mate with someone else. Madison Glisson, for instance, remember her?”

“You do realize I just bailed you out of jail after you broke her nose, don’t you?” Rafe asked, “I’ve never been interested in her.”

“What about an Omega? Wouldn’t you rather have someone who’s going to listen and obey?”

“Betas are still ranked underneath Alphas. You’re supposed to listen and obey too–”

You scoffed, “I’m not that kind of Beta. See, it just doesn’t work.”

“I won’t reject you, Y/N, and you won't reject me either,” Your lips parted to respond, but you stared for a moment, dumbfounded, “Everything you had with my sister, or with anyone else, is over.”

“Rafe–”

“The Moon Goddess is offering you a great opportunity. A chance for a better life. Do…Do you have any idea what I could give you?” His voice grew deeper and darker. You should’ve known his nice guy routine was all an act to trap you here, “Huh?”

“I don’t want it.”

The car came to an abrupt stop as Rafe slammed on the brakes, pulling over into the dirt. The road was quiet but inside of Rafe’s car was far from that, “It’s Sarah. She’s got her little claws into you, yeah?”

“No, Rafe-”

“Yeah, I see what’s happening here,” Rafe nodded, “The way Sarah lives her life, toying with John B., messing with you, it’s not right. That’s no way to be a real leader.”

“She’s my friend,” You say, although you feel your voice growing smaller, Rafe’s presence taking over yours, “And I trust her more than I’d ever trust you.” 

“Do you think she’ll be loyal to you once she knows about us?” Rafe smiled, although you knew he wasn’t happy at all, and his eyes began to water. There was nothing else you could say to him; you knew that, and it was clear he was expecting a different reaction from you. He wanted you to fawn over him, to see how he’d taken care of you, and he wanted you to say thank you. He wanted an Omega which you’d never be. 

“Us? There will never be an us,” You sealed your fate with those words, grabbing the passenger door handle and practically falling out of Rafe’s truck. 

“Hey!” He shouted, trying to grab at you. 

Without another thought, you ran straight into the tree line. Despite the fact that you were running, you felt yourself breathe much easier, and your thoughts began to clear. That was the mate bond that you were feeling? You couldn’t imagine the Moon Goddess being so cruel to you. 

You ran from him, ignoring how right your name sounded on his lips. As he gained on you, your wolf took over. You were an experienced shifter, and you felt no pain as your bones molded and shifted. Your clothes tore from your body as you felt your speed increase. You glanced behind you to see how far he was behind you, but you saw a towering black figure with glowing red eyes. 

Angry with us, your wolf said; he’s angry with us. 

Slow down, this was Rafe’s voice now echoing in your head. He shouldn’t be able to get in your head like this. He wasn’t your Alpha, and you never accepted the bond. At a certain point, it didn’t matter how fast you were, as Rafe’s wolf was naturally stronger than yours. You still put up a fight, ignoring your wolf, as you and Rafe suddenly collided. You rolled through the forest underbrush, fighting for control, until Rafe finally landed on top of you. You did what you could to get him to let you go, biting at whatever you could. 

Shift, he tried to command you with his Alpha tone. You kept biting at him, which released an angry growl from his large form. Shift now, he tried again. Almost out of control, your wolf began to whimper. She hated that you were resisting him, rejecting him, and she began to punish you. You cried out as you were forced to shift, feeling every breaking bone and retracted claw or fang. 

You were weaker than you’d ever felt, lying naked on the forest floor. It felt like the first time you had shifted when transforming had left you bruised and bedridden for days. You breathed heavily, staring up at the Alpha before you. Rafe shifted easily, a muscular figure replacing black fur, sparkling blue eyes replacing red ones. 

“Please. Stop.”

“This is her will. Who am I to deny her?” Rafe grabbed your chin, turning your head to its side before sharp canines elongated from his mouth. Your shift had left you paralyzed, and you only could scream as Rafe sunk his teeth into your shoulder. 

You and Sarah had many conversations about mate marks. John B. had almost bit Sarah in the middle of sex. It scared her so much she didn’t hook up with him for two months, although he was entirely apologetic. Alpha mates marked each other out of respect for their bond, and Alphas often marked Omegas to exhibit their claim. You knew immediately what Rafe had done wasn’t out of love or respect. He felt you slipping away and took the opportunity to try to control you. 

Now, every wolf on the island would be able to sense Rafe in your own scent. They’d know you were claimed by, out of all people, the Alpha of Kildare’s son. 

Rafe carried your naked figure back to his car; blood smeared over your skin before he finally drove you home. You were in and out of consciousness at that point, but you remembered hearing your mother’s panicked voice and Rafe placing you on the twin sized bed in your small room. 

The next time you came to, both Sarah and your mother were in your room. Sarah stood by the door, her arms crossed tightly, and your mother was sitting on the bed beside you, “He just left her like this,” You heard Sarah say, venom in her tone, “I didn’t …I didn’t ever think he would do something like this.”

“He better make an honest woman out of her,” Your mother said, and you felt her grab ahold of your hand, “Alpha Ward will recognize their bond, won’t he?”

“He won’t be happy about this,” Sarah shook her head, “But he doesn’t ever reprimand Rafe in the way he should. Whatever Rafe wants, he’ll go along with it.”

“And what do you think he wants?”

“To hurt me,” Sarah answered, “I’m sorry about all this. I should go. She needs more rest.”

You turned your head, wincing, “Sarah,” You called out to her, but she was already slipping out the door. 

“It’s okay, she’ll be back,” Your mother said, although you knew deep in your chest that everything was going to change now, “And Rafe, he told me that he would come back once you healed. He thought you might feel better faster if you were home with your family.”

As far as you were concerned, Sarah and the other pogues were closer to your family than the woman next to you would be, “You realize what he did to me…don’t you?”

“He chose you,” Your mother sounded almost cheerful, “And he’s going to be a very powerful man on this island. He’ll take care of you and me. Like your father never could …”

You turned your head to look at the ceiling, deciding then you’d use whatever energy you had left to be far from here whenever Rafe decided to “come back”. Even if your wolf hated you forever because of it.

Aaa this one was a little hard to write because I'm not very familiar with Shizukasa or Ruikasa. Also I saw this request 6 days late (I forgor this blog existed T-T) so sorry about it being later than normal! I also have school for nine hours everyday (except friday) so yayyy Apologies for any ooc stuff or mistakes!! I proofread like.. half of it Despite all that this was really fun to write! "HA HA HA!"

"R-Rui..? What's that loud noise..?" Nene sidled close to Rui, her lips tugging down in a concerned expression. They were standing under the relieving shade of a tree per Nene's request, sheltered from the sweltering sunlight.

"Hmm.." Rui glanced over in the direction of the sound. A group of kids were gathered together among the scattered flowers of the grassy park field. As he studied them, his guess to what they were doing became more and more plausible. Were they... performing?

"I, Tenma Tsukasa, will save Saki - er, Princess Saki - from you, evil witch!" A golden-haired boy jabbed his finger at a girl across from him, a boisterous voice trailing out of his wide open mouth. "You will not go un.. unpunished!"

"Oh, Tsukasa-kun, your acting is so good!" the girl said cheerfully, her blue eyes sparkling in the sun. The first thing Rui noticed about her was that she was stunning. The second thing he noticed was that she looked oddly familiar, even though he was sure he'd never met her. Maybe he'd seen her on TV somewhere.

"Shizuku!" Tsukasa was pouting. "You're the witch!"

"Oh - sorry!" Shizuku tried her best to look menacing, but she still looked much too smiley. "Um.. abracadabra! Now you're a frog!"

"Aaah! The evil witch got me! Ichika, Honami, save me!" Tsukasa cried out and dramatically flung himself to the floor, causing a loud thump. Rui found himself captivated by the performance - were all actors this committed?

A black-haired girl around Nene's age stammered audibly, frantically waving a flimsy twig around. "U-umm..! H-human! Human!" She flung the twig at the boy.

"Human!" The girl beside her copied her, weakly throwing her twig forward.

"HA HA!" Tsukasa declared, leaping up from where he was squatted on the ground, trying to mimic a frog. "Your evil plan failed! Now give Princess Saki back!"

"No!" Shizuku swished her stick wand through the air. "I need to steal her magic! Shii-chan! Fight him!"

"E-eh..?" A girl with short gray hair clutched a stick in her hand. "Do I have to..? He's kinda loud.."

"It looks like they're putting on a show," Rui observed, watching the boy Tsukasa trying to get the girl to fight him. "Nene, do you want to join?"

"U-uh.." Nene stuttered, her cheeks reddening.

"If you don't, that's fine," Rui reassured her with a smile. He knew just how shy Nene could be. He remembered their first meeting well - she'd barely spoken to him, instead preferring to read a picture book in the corner of his room. But he also knew of her awe and fascination towards theater - a fact that he could understand and relate to perfectly well. It was that fact that had brought them together, and that fact that was now pulling him towards the group.

Nene seemed to be able to see how much Rui wanted to go, too. Summoning her courage, she nodded, following close behind him as he confidently walked over. Well, maybe not too confidently - he was well aware of his past attempts to make friends and do shows. Would these kids be any different?

Surprisingly, Rui found himself desperately hoping they would be.

"Saki! I'm here to save you!" Tsukasa charged forward, brandishing his stick with ferocity. "Begone, evil witch!" He lightly smacked the blue-haired girl on the arm. She gracefully helped herself to the floor before the boy sprinted towards the last girl in the group, the resemblance between her and Tsukasa obvious.

"Yay! You're so cool, Tsukasa!" Saki jumped up and down, smiling brightly. Rui started clapping, praising the performance. Was this really what shows could be? He'd seen a lot of them, yet this one was different - it was performed by a group of kids in the park, but somehow, that made it even more magical.

"Haha! I'm glad you liked it!" Tsukasa approached Rui, his chin raised proudly. He studied Rui and Nene for a moment, then grinned widely. "Do you two want to be in our show?"

Well, that saved asking. Rui nodded. "I'd be happy to." He could feel his heart beat more strongly in his chest. Maybe it didn't make much of a difference to other people, but he'd been asked to join this time. Not the other way around.

"Allow me to introduce myself! I am Tenma Tsukasa, world future star!" The boy puffed out his chest proudly.

"I'm Tenma Saki!" the girl with the yellow-pink twintails said happily. "Tsukasa's younger sister!"

"I'm Hinomori Shizuku!" the blue-haired girl smiled. "This is my cute younger sister, Shii-chan!"

"Shiho," the gray-haired girl mumbled, looking away embarrassed.

"My - my name is Hoshino Ichika!" The girl with dark hair stepped up beside Shiho, with the other human-magic-girl right behind her.

"I-I'm Mochizuki Honami..!" she sttutered in a soft voice. "What's your name?"

"My name's Kamishiro Rui," Rui introduced himself. "You can call me Rui. This is Kusanagi Nene." He gestured to the girl hiding shyly behind him.

" You - you can call me Nene!" she squeaked.

"Nice to meet you, Rui and Nene!" Shizuku greeted. "You can call me Shizuku!"

"Call me Tsukasa! If you're going to be in our show, you need a role," Tsukasa said thoughtfully. "Hm.." His eyes darted over the two of them, and Rui felt himself growing slightly self-conscious. "Aha!" he said after a moment. "Nene can be a mermaid! And Rui... can be an alchemist!"

"A mermaid?" Nene's eyes sparkled.

"An alchemist?" Rui tilted his head to one side. He wasn't against the idea - it was almost similar to what he liked doing - but more confused why Tsukasa had chosen that.

"Yes! Alchemists can do sciencey-magic!" Tsukasa seemed really hyped up about the idea, so Rui agreed.

"Okay. I'll be an alchemist!"

"I'm a prince, Saki is a princess, and Shizuku is the evil witch that has captured Saki," Tsukasa explained. "Ichika and Honami are fairies on my side, and Shiho is a knight protecting Shizuku! Nene can be on my side, and Rui can be on Shizuku's side!"

"Wait, didn't you act this play out already?" Rui asked, a little surprised.

"We actually acted it out five times already!" Shizuku told him. "It was so fun!"

"The plot changed every single time!" Saki added.

"Oh - I see," Rui nodded. So it was like acting out five different shows with the same roles and idea.

"And now that we have two more people, it will be funner!" said Tsukasa. "Let the show begin!" He scurried atop a boulder and brandished his stick in the air.

"W-wait!" Nene cried. "We don't even know what we're doing!"

"Improv, Nene!" Shizuku beamed.

"It was like this every time!" Saki agreed. "Come on, Nene! You have to help Tsukasa save me! Don't you want to beat Rui?"

Rui saw the significance of that last statement sink into his friend.

"O-okay!" she managed, and Saki pulled her over to Ichika and Honami.

"Rui, let's try our best to defeat Tsukasa!" Shizuku encouraged him.

"How many times have you defeated him?"

"Zero," Shiho answered flatly.

"Maybe I can change that." A thoughtful grin spread over Rui's features. He hadn't brought any of his robots or materials to make something big, but maybe he could modify Shizuku's stick somehow...

"Oh! I brought a bubble wand with me today," Rui said. "Perhaps you could use it as a wand, Shizuku."

Shizuku gasped. "That's a great idea!"

"What?!" Tsukasa yelled from the top of the boulder. "Alas, Alchemist Rui, your efforts are in vain! I will save Saki and defeat you!"

A feeling of warmth spread through Rui, and a sort of giddy sensation creeped up into his heart. He hadn't been able to freely associate with people like this before. They weren't calling him different or a genius... had he finally found people he could be himself around? But he hadn't exactly built anything, meaning they didn't know him fully yet...

He pushed the thought out of his head. Even if they didn't know the full him, was that okay? He glanced over and saw Nene smiling with Saki and the others, spotted, Shizuku's grinning face, looked up at Tsukasa atop the boulder, gazing down at him with a determined smile. A ray of sunlight slanted down against him, lighting up his face.

"I'm ready, Tsukasa. Let the show begin."

With Just Your Eyes

Authors note: Reworked and reposted from A03. Still very much in my DickKory feels so this is just one of many stories I plan to write. This is my first time ever writing fan-fiction sooo yayyy!!!. Comments are greatly appreciated! Enjoy!

His nerves were shot, his chest was tight and his heart was pounding a million miles a minute. Tonight had to be perfect.

The day he had been planning for the last six months had arrived. Today is the day he’s  proposing to Kory. Dick sat on their bed looking at the ring for the 50/11th time imagining the moonlight shining in his literal out-of-this-world girlfriend's magical eyes as he got down on one knee and declared his everlasting love for her. There was no doubt in his mind that Kory would say yes. Marriage was apart of the many many talks they’ve had over the past year of being together. Dick just wanted the events of the evening to be perfect.

Not only was he proposing but all the Titans were in town for the 1st year anniversary of saving the universe. Having booked reservations at the same restaurant and flew in Donna to keep Kory busy, Dick had everything planned out. With the help of Rachel, Gar, and Donna of course. Since they were the only ones who knew of his plans to propose.

Staring down at the ring, Dick imagines their lives together as husband and wife. Waking up everyday to make her favorite breakfast or going to their routine coffee shop for her favorite doughnuts. Drowning her with love by taking her on weekly date nights and buying whatever her heart desires. Being each other’s shoulder to cry on and comforting each other whenever and how ever needed. Raising up a family together and having mini Grayson-Anders running around. Basically doing what they already do just now they would share a last name.

“Dick,” His fiancée-to-be called from the hallway. She'd been getting ready with the girls in her old room and he barely seen her all day. Rushing to put the ring back in its hiding spot, Dick took a breath trying to be as normal as possible.

“In here Kor.”

“Are we doing anything after dinner tonight I want to know what type of heels to wear?” When Kory entered the room she instantly took his breath away. She’s wearing a short silk purple robe, gorgeously long legs glistening from her post-shower moisturizing, face bare, and her hair wrapped up in a silk scarf. She was so gorgeous that the question  barely registered.

“Um yeah the kids wanted to hang on the pier after, so go for a comfortable heel.” Dick answered, snapping out of her trance.

“Lover, are you ok?” It was no surprise to Dick that Kory could see his emotions in play. Sitting with him on their bed Kory ran her hands through his hair, something she  knew instantly calmed his nerves.

“I’m good, worrying about nothing just need to start getting ready” Dick couldn’t help but pull her in for a kiss unable to resist the love he felt for her.

“Okayyy,” Kory unsurely responded giving in to the distracting kiss. “Are you finally going to shave or are we still going for the caveman look?” she teased. Dick had been growing out his facial hair for the last couple of months. In the beginning, Kory couldn’t keep her hands off him, but then he let it grow out a little too much for her liking and she started throwing not-so-subtle shade about him needing to shave.

“You love the facial hair,” Dick chuckled pulling her into his lap. Remembering how she was basically living in his skin at one point.

“I did before it took over your face, you’re more hair than man now.” Dick had no rebuttal, again distracted by Kory’s overall aura. Dick missed her which was irrational since they were in the tower all day together but he had to share her with the others and she had gotten up early for a nail appointment with the girls, so their early morning cuddles were interrupted, making him needy.

“Donna’s going to be mad, I was only supposed to be gone a minute,” Kory giggled as Dick peppered kisses down her neck.

“She’ll be fine, we’ll be quick.”  Kissing those gorgeous lips that he had dreamed about, Dick forgot all about the engagement plans, having half a mind to slide the ring on her finger and spend the rest of the night making love to his soon to be wife.

“KORY!” Donna yelled from the hallway. Groaning into their kiss as Kory giggled, Dick moved to let her up but not before leaving her with a passionate kiss.

“Love you,” he whispered on her lips.

“Love you too Grayson.” she giggled.

Watching Kory walk out their room the tightness in his chest was no longer there; he felt nothing but the immense love that he always felt for her. To him nothing could ruin tonight as long as she was by his side.

An hour later, Dick met Donna and Gar in the living room ready to go, Tim and Connor were  meeting them at the restaurant, and per usual Rachel and Kory were the last to be ready. They’ve been attached at the hip since Rachel came home from Bludavan, even though they talk to each other every other day.

“You clean up good boy wonder,” Donna complemented. He decided to finally shave his face as a gift to his woman. Dressed in a short-sleeved white collar dress shirt with the first three buttons undone and black dress pants, Dick pulled out his finest for his love. His hair was styled into a messy man bun knowing that Kory loved his hair like that. Everything revolved around Kory down to his watch. It was a birthday gift from her, with his initials and “love Koriand’r” engraved on the back.

“Gotta look good for the wifey,” Checking his watch the feeling of anxiety started to arise. They’d need to leave in the next few minutes to make their reservation.

“Calm down Dick, they're almost ready, don't freak out,” Donna told him, seeing the stress build up. Donna’s been his rock throughout the planning. She’s kept Kory busy and distracted while also keeping him from going off the rails. Once everything calmed down, he knew he owed her big time.

“Besides, it's your fault for distracting the bride.” Donna said glaring.

“I have no idea what you mean,” Dick replied avoiding eye contact.

“I’m happy for you guys,” Gar gushed wrapping Dick in a bear hug.

“Thanks, bud” When Dick first told Rachel and Gar he was going to propose, they were both ecstatic. Gar told him it was about time, and he should’ve done it a year ago. Rachel told him that she was proud and called dibs on planning the wedding.

“Ok you two are going to make me cry, break it up,” Donna teared up jumping into the hug. Breaking apart to the sound of heels, Dick turned around and was almost knocked off his feet at the sight of Kory. She looked stunning in a dark purple fuzzy tube top with lighter purple sparkly high-waisted flare pants . Wearing her fancy gold bracelets, Dick noticed the RK ring set he got her for Christmas. Her hair was blown out and curled in dark burgundy waves. Just absolutely breathtaking.

“Wow you guys look amazing,” Gar exclaimed.

“Thank you, I owe it all to Rachel,” Kory giggled giving them a twirl. Eyes meeting with Kory, Dick felt the same nerves he felt on their first date. Watching the way her hip swayed when she waltzed up to him, put him back in her trance.

“I almost didn’t recognize you without all the hair,” she joked, running her finger across the stubble on his chin.

“Ha-Ha my comedian you’re hilarious,” Dick mumbled, squeezing her waist and leaning in for a kiss.

“Gross, you two are ruining my appetite maybe save the disgusting till after dinner,” Rachel groaned causing Dick to deepen the kiss. Kory laughed at the dramatic gagging of the kids.

“Alright, enough playing,” Donna sternly said making eye contact with Dick communicating it’s time to go. “Let’s get going.”

Deciding to drive separately from the others, Dick tried to ignore the stare Kory was burning in the side of his head. She was ogling him which did not help his nerves; all he could think was that she figured out the real plan of the night.

“Baby, you have been staring at me for the past ten minutes. What is it?”

“Am I making you nervous sweetheart?” Kory teased. The way she was biting her lip and looking made him blush.

Clearing his throat Dick tried to keep his composure and focus on the road ahead. “Yeah, I can feel you plotting”

“What I can’t admire my lover now?”

“Not when I’m trying to drive and we have reservations to make.”

“Well I just think you look really good and maybe we can skip the pier?” Glancing over at Kory the look in her eyes told him exactly what her intentions were. Just like Kory could read him like the back of her hand. Dick could read Kory the same way and he knew what it meant when those forest green eyes got dark.

“I would love to, but I have a surprise planned for everyone after, so we’ll have to wait,” Dick replied, taking her hand and giving a kiss to her ring finger.

Arriving at the restaurant 15 minutes later, it was like deja vu with all the kids gathered around the table sharing their recent life updates.

Rachel finished up her first two semesters of college smoothly and planned to spend her summer in San Francisco attending an art camp.

Gars discovering more about himself and the universe through the Red.

Connors having a great time bonding with his sorta daddy.

And Tim’s enjoying learning what it takes to be Robin.

Hearing the developments of the younger Titans' life made Dicks heart warm. Looking over to Kory, she looked like she couldn’t be more proud of their Titans.

Wrapping up dinner everyone made their way down to the pier, where Dick separated himself and Kory from the group under the guise of needing her help to set up the surprise.

“Where are those two going,” Tim curiously asked munching on popcorn.

“Well, I can let you two in on the secret now that it’s in motion,” Donna began make sure that Dick and Kory were out of earshot.

“DICK’S PROPOSING TO KORY DOWN ON THE BEACH!” Gar excitedly told the two. Rachel and Donna busted out laughing at his excitement. “Sorry D, I couldn’t hold it anymore.”

“Well that’s not shocking. Honestly, I thought they would’ve gotten married by now,” Tim shrugged not surprised by the recent news.

“I thought they would’ve had a baby by now,” Connor stated munching on cotton candy.

“We all know that if it was solely up to Dick, they would be and have baby number two on the way,” Rachel joked. Causing the group to break out in laughter.

“I’m happy for them”

Dick and Kory made their way down the pier, fingers intertwined mindlessly chatting.

“So, what this surprise you got planned, it better not be another road trip,” Kory looked over at him seriously. She’d fry him on the spot if he sprung another road trip on her.

“No, I promised to no more unexpected road trips,” Dick chuckled. “Actually, I lied the surprise isn’t for everyone just you.”

Kory raised her eyebrows a sly smile rising on her gorgeous face. “Really, what’s the occasion?”

“Well, it’s been a year since Metropolis, but it’s also been a year since we decided to try again,”.

“Woah, it’s been a year already?” Kory questioned.

“Yep, can’t believe it either.” They’d been so caught up in enjoying being together that time had just passed by. “So, I planned something special to celebrate”.

Reaching the end of the pier near the beachside, Dick pointed out the romantic setup.

A mini picnic table on a purple picnic blanket sat in the middle of the beach. The table had a small bouquet in the middle surrounded by candles. String flower lights circled the area and pillows were laid out for sitting.

Making their way down the stairs, Dick helped Kory take off her heels. When they got closer to the picnic Kory got a better look at the table. There were a dozen heart-shaped donuts with their initials on them and a beautiful tennis bracelet. Dick bought the tennis bracelet as a distraction gift in case she caught on to the proposal.

“Richard, this is all so beautiful I love it,” Kory awed turning to him, giving him a loving look with her enchanting eyes. The fact that she called him Richard he knew that she really did love it.

“Come on let’s sit,” Dick took her hand helping her sit with him on the cushioned pillows.

Cuddling up on the blanket, sipping champagne and feeding each other donuts, the night was going perfect. Kory kissed powdered sugar off his lips, entrapping him into her enticing spell. They made out for a good five minutes before Dick received a text from Donna letting him know that it was time.

“Mmmm, babe I got one more surprise” he groans, reluctantly pulling her lips away from his neck. The first sequence of fireworks begins right as he points to the sky.

“Oh my Xhal, Dick this is amazing!” Kory squealed.

Dick was trying to enjoy the show along with her, but his nerves kept building. He put his hand in his pocket to retrieve the ring as the last sequence started. The words “Marry me?” spelled out in the sky as Dick pulled out the ring.

“Baby” Kory gasped as Dick moved in front of her on one knee and opened the box.

The emerald princess cut ring with its golden encrusted band sparkled in the moonlight matching her teary eyes.

“Koriand’r, you changed my life for the better. All I knew was guilt and suffering but then I became the luckiest man alive when you entered my life. And even though like a big dummy it took forever to express my love, I’ve loved you since the beginning. I love you more than life itself. The moment I looked into those beautiful eyes of yours, I was instantly gone for you. With just your eyes I was yours and I will be yours in this lifetime and the next. So principessa, will you marry me?”

The world felt like it was spinning around them as he finished. Tears ran down his face, having gotten choked up in the middle of the proposal. Kory also had tears running down her face but her makeup remained untouched. He couldn’t breathe in the few seconds of waiting for her response.

“Of course, I will baby,” Kory cried, moving to her knees to kiss him deeply. Dick gripped her tightly ring still in hand. She pulled back slightly to let him breathe but he dived back in not caring about breathing right now.

“Dick, I love you so much” she whispered wiping lipgloss off his lips. Dick took her left hand kissing it before placing the ring on top of the RK ring on her ring finger.

The outburst of cheers caught their attention causing them to turn around to see Donna and the kids at the top of the pier.

“Did they know about this?” Kory laughed.

“Donna, Rachel, and Gar knew. They were a big part of pulling this off,” Dick responded helping her to her feet. And a big help they were. Without the three of them, Dick would’ve spent the last six months an indecisive mess.

Everyone came down and crushed them in a group hug. Gar and Donna had tears in their eyes and Rachel was smiling so hard her cheeks were red.

“I’m so glad this is over, your man was the biggest pain in my ass with all his drama,” Donna told Kory somewhat jokingly.

“Hey, I just wanted everything to be perfect for my fiancée,” Dick said, wrapping both arms around Kory from behind, squeezing her to him.

“It was perfect thank you,” Kory turns giving him a loving kiss forgetting about the crowd.

“Ok ok enough with that and it’s not over because we still have wedding planning!” Rachel said buzzing with excitement.

“You guys should have a designation wedding,” Gar announced excitedly.

“Where would we go,” Dick asked eyebrows raising with curiosity.

Kory looked around at everyone mischievously, “How about Tamaran?”

OH BOY I'M IN WARRIORS TERRITORY so uuuh. hexsquad's warrior names... Luz's would obviously have to be Light something. I can't think what tho. Lightbeam? Lightstep? Willow maybe Willowflower? Willowleaf? Amity's... Hhmm... Can I like, name my kit Amitykit? Amity is basically friendship, right? It's a word... Idk. I'm open to ideas. I have no idea what name Gus would have tho, like, at all. And Hunter could be... Goldenhunter? Sounds siiick, and later on he could change the Golden part to something else... GAAAAAAH I love warrior cats so much, I have thousands of ideas

YAYYY MORE AUTISM CROSSOVER!!!! i do have warrior designs in the works for some toh characters too— hexsquad and some of the adults! here’s my interpretation of their names:

Luz— Lightshine!! no real thoughts on this one, it was just an instant “oh she’d be Lightshine” for me. i just knew that was her name. Lightheart would be a close second tho

Amity— Moonglow! i think her mom would give her the moon prefix as a kind of “look how special my child is” thing like thriftear and bayshine are doing with moonpaw in the books, adding to the pressure she felt to be perfect. might sound like a cop out because of the elders’ quest, but “moon” only being used rarely/in special instances is not an uncommon fanon concept lmao. plus amity’s moon motif yknow. i hesitated to make her suffix anything light related (the “amity became a 2 dimensional love interest whose only personality was luz’s gf” interpretation boils my blood), but i really do think -glow suits her disposition s3 onward. she’s never been happier, her name should reflect that <3

Willow— leaning towards Willowthorn! her innocent, sweet-sounding prefix did not keep her from a tough girl suffix. i just like her name containing both sides of her, and thorn > claw/fang/etc bc Plant

Gus— i’m kind of stuck with him. Smoke___ maybe, bc the whole “smoke and mirrors” saying for illusions? i’m stretching i know. idk how i feel about deducing his whole personality to illusions but i can’t think of anything else to suit him. the obvious Gust___ prefix (since it sounds like Gus) doesn’t feel like it suits him, and Chameleon___ bc of emmiline is cute but it’s just such a mouthful

GG era Hunter— Golden___ obviously. maybe Goldenheart bc illusion of good/trust, or Goldenclaw as a display of power/strength. Goldenhunter makes sense but is just a little clunky for my taste

post-GG Hunter— Cardinalflight <3 not sure if Flapjack could work into his story but cardinals would still be significant somehow

Vee— Snake___? Serpent___? Pumpkin___? I’m stuck with her too bc her reclaiming her name was important to her character and idk how to translate that into a warrior name

Eda— Owlclaw (bc clawthorne)

Emperor’s Coven Lilith— i would say Ravenclaw also bc clawthorne but harry potter ruined that forever so idk. and Raventalon or Raventhorn (clawThorne) don’t really feel right to me. possibly Ravenheart for the same reasons as Goldenheart?

post-EC Lilith— Ravenlily!! the idea of eda’s canon nickname for her being in her new name was too cute to pass up, but not sure how it’d be explained in-universe. Ravenflower’s another good option that i probably like better as a general name, but it feels less personal to lilith specifically

Raine— Rainwhisper lmao. easiest name ever. i remember when they were introduced thinking “warrior cat ass name”

Belos— ___star obviously (but no actual relationship with starclan, just like he lied about the titan. nine lives actually would make sense tho but i’m not sure how he’d get them without starclan and without magic)

i don’t have the exact details for how my toh warriors au would work, except that luz starts out as a kittypet. whole “proving herself as a witch” arc -> “proving herself as a clan cat” arc, etc etc etc. the story would start when the kids (excluding gg hunter, whose early ascension to golden guard = earning his warrior name early) are apprentices, and they’d get their full names later once they came into their own as characters, like how apprentice povs work in the books

i imagine the clan systems would have to work a bit differently to align with the coven systems, but i’m not sure how. maybe the boiling isles is made up of one big clan, so belos would still be their corrupt leader, and earning your warrior name = joining a coven? and the clan reclaims warrior names into something better post-belos so the kids still get them??? idk. and i have No idea how king, hooty, eda’s curse, the palismen, etc fit into any of this either

also not sure how eda would fall into the whole clan situation since her entire thing is being an outsider, but gave her a warrior name anyway. maybe if prev paragraph was implemented she would just stay as owlpaw when she ran away as a big f u to the clan, or she just drops the suffix and go by owl??

NO idea how amphibia would work translated into the warriors world bc we can’t have amphibia without the frogs, but it’s at least fun to speculate about toh. i never really planned to flesh out full owlphibia warriors aus, but this ask certainly got me thinking lmao

mostly i just include their warrior names/headcanon descriptions in my silly little oc allegiances like a fun little easter egg for no one but myself <3 i’ll definitely post all the catified blorbo designs once i finish them tho!! and i’m open to suggestions for names i haven’t figured out yet!

melinda warren meeting all of the CO's children?

ooh okay this is tricky because if we're here like yippee we're wiccaning someone like yayyy this is chill or We Need The Origin Of Our Bloodline Here Stat. personally, i think for wyatt, maybe also chris, lil bit for melinda/pj/kat/tam but ehh. i think melinda warren is kind of like that really cool aunt. like she's only ever over for wiccanings so they only get to chat on special occasions idk maybe when the veil is thin on all hallow's eve the girls summon melinda to help teach them the olde ways or whatever so like. for wyatt at the very least melinda is always a welcome presence and a big hug, she's like the family member you look forward to catching up with at the gathering.

melinda and chris first meeting would actually go crazy if it was the dark future and it was something to do with the bloodline idk chris has to go back and melinda is overcome by how much he kind of is what she wants prudence to grow up to be a smart, capable witch, discreet, but not cowardly, no, so brave that you would risk everything to save the ones you love. and i think chris having piper died when he was still pretty young to get an ancestor's I Am Proud Of You And I'm So Glad Our Lineage Culminated In You would fully rewire his brain. he would come back a different man.

melindaH i think it would be super cute if she accidentally summoned melindaW without knowing and spent the day getthing close to this new girl who transferred in from community college in salem (wow! so cool!) blah blah blah and it's revealed at the end it's actually melinda warren!

Aimee: Daddy's girl. She didn't get any mana just like Asta so he really gives her a lot of extra attention to teach her to wield Anti-Magic from her Uncle Liebe. Their energies also match up perfectly so Asta can take whatever wildness his daughter can throw at him. And with Noelle, Aimee learns to be fiercely determined and stubbornly loving!

Naru: Mama's boy. It's very rude of him but Naru would say Noelle is his favorite parent. Sorry Asta. Partially because they share an attribute but mostly because Naru has seen Noelle actively kick ass, this boy worships the ground his mom walks on. Don't be mistaken though, Naru chases down Asta to show him every new thing he learns because Asta's smile of pride is a big motivator.

Filomina: Filomina has her parents' support through and through. And in kind, Filomina wants to be someone they can be proud of. It's their smiles that she wants to bring out above all others. Asta and Noelle are defensive of their youngest child but they never hesitate to give her the freedom to pursue her dreams.

So I don’t actually remember this but I’m pretty sure you’re right? I feel like now you’ve mentioned it, that it did happen but I’d completely forgotten it was actually stated in the books that they are set up to be taken care of in those initial weeks after going into the cauldron?

Either way, after having been living in pretty severe poverty for so long, reader I think quite simply forgets you can get things because you want them? If she doesn’t need it she won’t get it, hence almost all of her books being from the library where they’re just borrowed :)

Week in Review

11/05/2023 – 11/11/2023

Sunday

As expected, the Ichinose chapter last week was a fake out. Just one more gotcha – but just kidding this time! before the end of the road. And now that we’re here…it’s a little baffling to me that it took us 48 chapters and an entire year to impart the relatively basic message of “families aren’t perfect but you gotta keep trying anyway.” I wish we could’ve gotten more focus into each of the other family members like Tsubasa did, what with the whole set up of the seven deadly sins and all. I wish there weren’t so many twists that seemed to be only for shock factor/cliffhangers. And I wish this series had a stronger thematic backbone, but I’m learning that Taizan 5’s M.O. is all about bordering on trauma porn/shock factor until they pull it back for a conclusion that’s about as complex as you’d find in a Disney Channel movie. They always have great premises, but from what I’ve seen, I don’t think they have the skill to actually follow through with interesting and evocative ideas. I’m just glad the trip is finally over. I’ll give Ichinose a 3/10, and I honestly don’t think I’ll check out Taizan 5’s works in the future.

Next up is Undead Unluck, and it’s so serendipitous that we got this chapter right after episode 5 of the anime, because otherwise I don’t think I would’ve remembered Andy firing his fingers at the Round Table, and then I wouldn’t have caught this parallel of Fuuko shooting her guns at the UMAs! What a full circle moment. And oh my God Andy…pulling a Fire Punch, I see. Solid chapter overall.

Dandadan 127: YAYYY RIN!! LET ‘EM KNOW!!!

Magilumiere 90: Plot-wise I don’t have much to say about this chapter, but it’s fun to see everyone in the Manga Plus comments lamenting about Shigemoto being denied his magical girl dress.

Hmmmmm yeah okay, it’s the end of the line for Akane-banashi for me…I know I said I was going to stick with it for the rakugo stories, but I think I’ll just listen to a rakugo podcast or something. I’m glad I got to see fox Karashi before I went, though.

One Piece was fine.

CIPHER ACADEMY YAYYYYY I’m glad to finally learn more about Karigane and what a threat she can be! I also love when Byu’s eyes go into sniper mode, it’s such a unique character design detail. But oh boy……I tried so hard to get into mahjong when I played Yakuza 0, and I’ve since accepted that I’m just too dumb for it LMAO like, there’s no way I’ll ever be able to memorize all the point-winning hands, and I barely understand what a dora or tenpai is. I wouldn’t even be able to tell if I was winning if there wasn’t a video game telling me that I was…all of which is to say that this code battle is just going in one ear and out the other, I’m afraid. But I’ll just focus on the emotional journeys of the characters and I’ll still have a great time.

My friend and I finally marathoned a ton of House episodes, but they were all pretty standard fare. I can’t believe we’re only halfway through season 5 and there’s still four whole 22-episode seasons left…they really let TV shows go on forever back then, huh? What’s really surprising to me on this rewatch is how Taub has become my favourite character…? He’s pragmatic, self-aware, and doesn’t tend to get caught up emotionally – my kinda guy.

Monday

Finally got around to watching the Dirty Laundry episode that came out like two weeks ago. This one was pretty fun, with one or two wild stories, but still doesn’t reach the heights of some of the earlier Dirty Laundry episodes for me. And every time I watch, I think about how hard it must be to cast for this show, because not only do you have to get good comedians, you have to get four of them who are familiar enough with each other to have funny banter and to actually guess whose secret it is… And I fear that their talent pool is running out…or rather, their talent pool of people I recognise and would like to see on the show is running out.

Watched the new Make Some Noise episode while I was at it and I love seeing Jacob again, his energy with Lou is really fun. I feel like some of the prompts this season have been a little…subpar, though… I don’t like the ones where it’s just a pop culture reference that’s basically only one obvious joke, or the ones where there’s no real room to expand… But I think the guests this time did the best with what they got. But holy shit I did not enjoy the minigames in this episode…

It’s been a busy week… I’ve gotten sucked into all my various projects and errands…but I always have time for new Undead Unluck episodes. Unfortunately, this was probably the weakest episode in the series so far. Story-wise it was a lot of setup for next week’s fight, and visuals-wise…look, I get it, there’s literally no other way they could feasibly do this on a TV anime schedule, but goddamn the 3D zombies look goofy as hell… I really hate seeing 3D human models in 2D anime, it just never looks convincing and completely takes me out of it. But it is what it is, I suppose.

I loved the part in the beginning of the episode though, where Shen was being cute and having fun banter with Fuuko. And then the fish-eyed lenses effect to amp up the horror vibes when they were listening to the recording was also a nice touch. Now I’m just really looking forward to seeing if Shen has his little unhinged moment next week. (Special shout out to the cameo from Mr. Spongebob himself, that made me laugh).

Saturday

Pretty good episode of SpyFam today. I love seeing the tension racket up as Yor and co. realize that they’ve been found out – the scene with the room service guy was particularly excellent. The Anya segment provided a nice balance of comedic relief, though perhaps it dragged a bit longer than it needed to. I’m excited to get into the assassin battles proper next week.

It’s fun to be eating Chinese food while watching Kusuriya, especially when it’s a super spicy mala dish…I feel like I’m doing a poison mukbang with Maomao. Rihaku is really cute in anime form! The Garden Party as a whole was adapted about as well as I could’ve expected, but I think I just prefer seeing it in manga form for whatever reason…probably something to do with the pacing of reading the dialogue versus watching it being spoken aloud.

Pretty barren week, huh? I wish I could say I was being productive the whole time but it’s more like I got sucked into my hobbies while watching a lot of YouTube in the background. Hopefully next week will be more eventful.

He bought ice cream, two of them, knowing that you won’t be able to finish it so he can eat two ice-creams but the moment he turned he doesn’t see you. He panicked and started looking for you all over the shop, trying not to alert his mom but when all hope seemed lost, he started sobbing, where are they? are they hurt? They’re mom is gonna be so sad-

“Mooooom!” He cries and runs to his mother who holds the boy in her arms 

“Why are you crying what happened?”

“Y/n” He looks around “I cant find”

His mom smiles fondly at the boy “Are you worried?”

He nods “I’m supposed to protect them!” He cries and his mom coos gently carrying him and taking him out of the shop, placing him down

“ok, my strong boy” His mom says and kisses the top of his head, “look there” He obeys, with teary eyes only to spot you walking towards them with cotton candy in her hands and he pulled away from his mom to run to you

“Where were you?” He asked and held your face 

“Clouds” You claimed happily showing the cotton candy proudly to him

“You should’ve waited” He sniffled and you reached over to wipe his cheeks, he smiles, but didn’t stop you

“Sorry” You whisper and he nods opening his mouth so he can taste the clouds and you happily letting him take a bite

He looks up to see his mom and your dad grinning at the sight “Hi, Y/n’s dad” he waves and looks at you who was playing with the cloud on your hand “No, Y/n.” He takes it and bonks your head making you wince “you’ll get sticky-”

You and Taeil literally grew up side by side, He was there for you back in middle school when this girl bullied you because you and Taeil would always be together.

Taeil wasn’t happy the way that girl treated you but you always ignored her, she was just jealous that you were bestfriends with him, so you had a habit of holding him back whenever he was about to say something to her, or you try to anyway

“Taeil” you hissed and tugged on his shirt again once he stared down at her, of course you know Taeil is a big softie who cries over Hachiko, The dog that waited for his master by the train station despite his master dying, and that dog from I am Legend, so you know he really means no harm, its just, its his big brother instincts that make him fight anyone who attempts to harm you cause as he quotes “You’re an annoying little snot rag I had to take care of, So if anyone has the right to mentally harm you its me” and rewarded him with a kick to the shin “Lets just go, leave her be”

He looks at you and you smiled softly “We can go get clouds before we go home” you offered once he allows you to take him away, he raises an eyebrow at your words

“You’re fourteen and you still call them clouds?”

You roll your eyes “Cotton candy” you said in distaste “That is the most disgusting word I have ever heard of, Clouds on the other hand, sounds more magical”

He laughs “What about I start calling dumplings as meat pockets again?”

You made a face “What are you five?”

“I’m as cute as one”

“I hate Toddlers”

“No you don’t” He says and leads you to his bike, getting on it after handig you his backpack “You love kids”

You sat by the back, sitting on it with your legs to the side while you held on to his waist, pinching his side “No, I don’t”

He flinches and moves to swat your hands “Yes, you do, you love kids, you would play with them at the park whenever their parents are busy,” he points out and starts biking

“I have no idea what you’re taking about-”

“Look its Baby Yuri” he says saying the name of that child you were always so fond of

You perked “Where?” only to see that its an empty road and a laughter coming from him as a reminder that Baby Yuri’s house is far from here “Jerk” you glared at him and pinched him again, he swats your hand away “now hurry up and teach me how to read Morse codes” you said and held on to the back of his shirt

The time Taeil stopped thinking like you were his little sister was when you dated on your second year of high school. Yes, cliché, but, at first he didn't care, he congratulated you and helped look stunning, he wasn't bitter that you were trying to show off for someone else, or that you were nervous to go on a date with someone else (not true, he did care, he was bitter, he hated every minute of it)

Three months into your relationship, you were crying in Taeil's arms, cause, apparently you had a fight, cause you were to close to Taeil and your fight resorted to yelling and you attempting to kick them

So when you called him, but you didn’t speak, he just heard your heavy breathing he knows you were upset, he knows that you’re trying every thing to not cry, he knows that if you speak you just might, so, he spoke first “Yours or mine?” he stops about three seconds after the first choice so you can hum or grunt (whichever you had the energy to do), then he’ll know what your answer is

You grunted at his second offer, and he stands up from his bed to start cleaning up around the house, “Sure, come over, you want me to pick-” He looks at his phone and you declined the call, so you’ll be coming over yourself. 

He moves to get to work, cleaning up the mess and getting the snacks you like before you arrive, and when he was finished, there you were, on his porch, looking like you were about to kick his door in

He reaches out to hold your hand which you pulled it away and walked inside. He wasn’t offended, he knows why you don’t like the affection, he knows that you breakdown easily. The fact that you haven’t even teared up yet was amazing, but you aren’t outside, you aren’t alone, It’s Taeil, your bestfriend the boy that has been by your side all your life so he knows, you need a hug

He grabbed you by the arm to pull you into his chest, you gasped and attempted to push him away but he shushes you with a small affectionate kiss on your forehead, “its ok,” he whispers “I know you wanna be strong, so its ok, its just me, you did well, you’ve been so strong up until now” he holds you close that you tightened your grip on his shirt “Its just me, Let me be strong for you”

You cried into his chest that day, after his words. You would never admit it, but Taeil is probably the only one who has seen you cry, he doesn’t mind, he’s your Strength, he knows that, you know that, so when it gets too much Taeil lets you cry on him lets you take it out, he makes you feel taken care off And he wouldn’t have it any other way

He managed to calm you down, petting your hair and then he bonks you, making you look at him, tear stained cheeks, eyes bloodshot, he laughs as you rub your head “Feel better?”

“A bit, yeah”

He hums and pulls away “Go take a shower,” he moved to his cupboards and taking out a fresh towel, handing it to you, well actually he didn’t hand it, he fucking threw it to your face, and yeah it hurt, but it made you laugh and he smiles back “Go clean up, I’ll lend you some of my clothes” he sighs “again. Snotty,” He teases “You gotta return my clothes sometime today, the near future”

You smile “No, I like them, go buy new ones instead” 

He laughs “Brat, I need my clothes”

You pout and crossed your arms "You're gonna make me cry again, big brother" you called him that only when you want something, and yeah, it usually works, but something about being referred to as big brother 

He rolls his eyes and threw one of his sweatshirts to you making you yelp, “Shut up and go”

You obeyed, smiling softly at him. He stares at his hands, You haven’t called him Big Brother for a very long time and something about that made his blood boil

He just wishes he knows why. He’s been feeling like this for quite sometime, whenever you get to friendly or to close to someone, he has no idea if he should be angry at you or that person your talking to. 

He settled on the sofa with a sigh and looked at the tv, where the opening scene of your favorite show was paused, your favorite snacks on the coffee table. His ears perked when he heard the familiar sound of his bathroom door opening, you were done, he turned to see your figure disappear somewhere behind his house, he knows what you’re doing you were gonna hang the towel you borrowed, then you reemerged, hair still obviously wet (you didn’t bother to properly dry it, he guesses, again), leaving wet splotches on his sweatshirt. You went up the stairs, he smiles, he has a feeling you’ll get pillows from his room, he can hear the door of his room open, yup he is right.

He stood up to get the towel you hanged and walked back to the living room to see you eating the snacks while cuddling his pillow, He really does know you now. He throws the towel at you “Dry your hair properly, or shave your head” he points out and you sigh, doing as your told with a playful kick to his thighs

Once you were done he leaves to hang it again, when he returns and sees you, he smiles excitedly sitting beside you, and you play the movie

It was just a random movie that you accidentally started liking (he was ninety-nine percent sure you only like it cause Ewan McGregor, who you think is “surprisingly charismatic”, is in it). He wasn’t watching though, the movie wasn’t interesting, he was watching you, reading you body language and facial expression, checking if you really are feeling better

He didn’t realize how hard he was staring at you, ‘till both of your eyes met, he froze, you were so close, his heart skipped a beat, was it just him? or was your eyes always that sparkly?

You lift your hand and placed the snack against his lips, feeding him “take a bite so you’ll stop looking at me like a lost puppy”

He blushes and nods, taking a bite. Looking away, he held his hands. He is fucking screwed

You on the other hand found out you liked him around college. Unfortunately, you and Taeil have drifted apart over time. You don’t hang out as usual, he is studying a different major than you after all, it was only natural you both have other friends

You didn’t like it

Over time you and Taeil have been going through your own time, like getting your own apartments and campus that we want to be on, It doesn’t change, you and Taeil go to and from the Campus and Your houses around the same time since you are neighbors but when the two of you get to the Campus its like neither of you know each other 

Growing up with Taeil means, he was with you every waking moment and all of a sudden its gone, who will get used to that? He has been the person you grew with, who held yo while you were in pain and made you laugh when you were sad 

“I miss you” You whispered one time as you sat on to the passengers seat of his car when you both were heading home for the holidays “A lot” you whispered quiet enough so that he won’t hear but you were wrong

Ever since Taeil accepted the fact that he likes you he has become more insightful in things that upset you, and he can see (he doesn’t know why) but he can see how upset you were and hearing you say that, he didn’t mean it, but it gave him hope that you liked him too

That week Taeil climbed your window to wake you up, knocking on your window 'till you eventually woke up

You weren't exactly asleep, you were to busy looking at your hands, thinking about your Christmas dinner at the Moon Household, you and you're family was there except you and Taeil haven't even attempted to try and speak or approach each other and it only hurt you more when neither of you tried. You sat up and froze, seeing a shadowy figure by your window and your instincts went to overdrive and you opened your mouth to scream for your father

Taeil noticed your on guard position and he shakes his head, knocking against your window in a pattern that he wishes to every one holy that you remember

“Da-” you stopped midway once you hear the knocking looking at the figure, you realized it was Morse code, you listened as the figure tapped the glass, long tap, pause, That’s a ‘T’ tap, long tap, pause, And that’s an ‘A’ tap, pause, what is that one again? Tap, Tap, pause, I remember this one its an ‘I’ tap, long tap, tap, tap

You looked at the figure “Taeil?” you asked and opened the window, Taeil climbing in letting out a sigh of relief “What the hell are you doing here?”

He laughs “I was bored,” You frowned and sat on your bed, glaring at the boy making him raise both his hands in defense “I’m kidding, don’t hit me”

You rolled your eyes and lied sown on the bed “Yeah well, leave, I was sleeping” facing away from him

“We both know you weren’t”

“shut up”

He smiles and taps your thigh over the blanket “Scoot over, I had a nightmare, don’t wanna sleep alone”

You turned to look at him “What are you five?”

“Is that a no?” He asks with a sly smile, holding the blanket up so he can join you when you agree

You sighed, scooting to the side and he slides in beside you “Big baby”

He laughs, but covered his mouth to not wake your parents “I didn’t really have a nightmare” he whispered and moves to tuck an arm underneath his head as you copy his movements, the two of you facing each other “You were avoiding the at the party”

You scoffed “No, you were avoiding me” you huffed

“Are you ok?” He asked reaching up to swipe the hair that covers your face “You’ve been extremely quiet”

You yawned, you felt safe I his presence to even fall asleep to it, you couldn’t help but smile softly at the action “I’m ok” you lied, closing your eyes

“Don’t lie to me” he says, he has known you long enough to know when you lie and he won’t let it pass “I wanna help you”

“There’s nothing you can do”

“There will be if you tell me”

“Taeil”

“Y/n” 

You opened your eyes only to see him staring at you, with worry and care “I hate you”

He smiles, and you felt your cheeks warm up at the sight “No you don’t” You rolled your eyes and he nods “Tell me when you’re ready, but for now” he takes her free hand in a promise “I won’t leave your side, and don’t leave mine”

You looked at him, the at your hands, before nodding “Promise?”

He nods “Promise” He smiles as he watches you yawn “Get some sleep, ok?”

“Ok” you whisper and start to doze off “That’s all I ever wanted,” you whisper “I miss you” you whisper and fall asleep

Taeil’s heart was beating rapidly against his chest, miss him? what is that supposed to mean? was that even supposed to mean anything? And he was aware that your hands are still intertwined, he blushes, and holds it tighter, afraid of letting go. He watches you sleep this time, glad to see you peaceful, seeing you always made him happy, but sometimes knowing that you will never return these feelings, made him so weak that he wants to do nothing but lie in bed, he closes his eyes,  his finger tapping mindlessly on your pillow

L-O-V-E Y-O-U

You and Taeil are still very much a bestfriends. And you two hang out majority of the time since Lee Taeyong, someone from Taeil's group of friends, and Suh Johnny, the American exchange student you became friends with started dating

So bam! You and Taeil were automatically the third wheel, which was fun since you two were already friends, everyone was talking and playing around while you and Taeil were speaking to other people. Taeil looks at you as you fed Jungwoo the tart you ordered and Taeil had to bite his tongue from saying something to the innocent boy

He starts tapping against the table as he looks through his phone, hoping you could understand the Morse code despite how loud the surroundings were

You did. And you couldn’t stop smiling, Fid me 2, He spelled, Feed you? and you understood, you must tease the boy “Ew” you said aloud so he’ll hear and he huffs making you laugh

“Aww I didn’t know you guys can read each other minds” Yuta teases and kicks Taeil under the table 

Taeil shrugs “We’re that close”

You roll your eyes, feigning annoyance but you smiled at Taeil as he focuses on other people, joking and playing with them

“I’m hungry” Taeyong says making everybody listen to him, and Johnny nodding 

“What do you wanna eat my love?” He asks and you gagged, making him elbow you 

Taeyong chuckled and nodded “something sweet” he starts and hums

Johnny looks at everyone as they start suggesting food, Johnny and Taeyong turn down some till Taeil spoke “What about clouds?”

The whole room turned quiet and you stared at the boy in front of you, wide eyed while the room started to rumble with questions

“What the fuck is a cloud?”

“We’re talking about food Taeil”

“Taeil, are you stoned?”

“Since when can you eat clouds?”

You bursted out laughing once he starts to redden from your friends words before glaring at you “Y/n help me” You shake your head still too busy laughing, he growls “Its nothing, its an inside joke, you guys wouldn’t understand!” he huffs and lean against his chair, crossing his arms 

Your laughter died sown as you stared at him, his eyes meeting yours and you blushed, taking a bite of your tart, Why are you blushing? you asked yourself, Why is your heart beating so fast? you might pass out if it continues, surely you don't like Taeil, TAEIL of all people, not him

“Y/n did you hear me?” Jungwoo says making you look at him and apologetically shake your head making him chuckle “I asked when you started liking him”

“I don’t”

He raises his eyebrow “Oh really? cool, cause I have this friend who wants me to set them up with Taeil”

You glared at him “Do you wanna die?” you asked annoyed

He laughs and winks “I will once you admit of your feelings” 

You kicked him, then you hear the table buzz, looking up to see someone approach Taeil, shyly offering him a box, “I,” They smiles, cheeks painted red and you couldn’t help but glare at the new comer “I got you some chocolates, I hope you like them”

Taeil bows and takes the chocolates, and you look away, while Jungwoo looks at you, with a sly grin, and you point a threatening finger at him “Not a word”

Taeil and you confessed in the least romantic way possible, but you loved it all the same, granted you both fought, but it was cute and emotional all the same

He mindlessly played with the flashlight, switching it on and off against his wall, you were asleep on his bed cause you had a fight with your dad about a boy and you decided that sleeping over at Taeil's for the night wouldn't be that bad, so while you slept you lent hi your phone cause his was broken, why? easy, you threw it against the wall cause he wouldn't turn off his alarm "You dance to this shit Y/n" "I don't mind breaking your arm too"

So there he was switching your phone's flashlight on and off after he got bored spamming your gallery with his face. He was a little out of it, but he knows you're awake "You'll drain my battery" you murmured

"It'll charge" He mutters "My phone on the other hand" he says a bit snappy

You pout "I said I'm sorry, and I'm repairing it ok?"

He shrugs and continued going though your phone

You sat up and leaned your forehead against his back "I'm tired I wanna nap again"

"And I wanna date you, we don't get what we want"

You looked up at him so fast that you thought you'd have whiplash "What?" you’re heart beating against your chest

He smiled slyly, trying his best to not blush and moving away from you “End scene” He laughs and playfully winks at you, he chickened out, he hates how angry he has been these past couple of weeks, he hates seeing other people approach and flirt with you, he hates being the subject when you call someone your bestfriend or your older brother, he hates how he can’t push people who wanna keep you away cause he has no right. He hates that it was starting to hurt to look at you, to think about you, its not fair that he likes you and you’ll never be in his arms the way he wants you to. He hates how you’re seeing someone, and it isn’t him. He hates the fact that he loves you, why out of all people, he could love, why you?

“Taeil!” You raised your eyebrow and your voice “What the heck was that supposed to mean “You were kidding?” you didn’t mean it, but sounded so offended and sad, does Taeil really like you? your heart thumped at a quick pace when he looks at you, searching your face for answer

He gulps “why?” he asks facing you “What if I wasn’t?

You stared at him processing “Well-” He moves to tilt his head waiting for you to answer him, you retaliated by hitting him on the shoulder “You didn’t answer me asshole”

He looks at your phone not answering, not fiddling with anything except the morse code app you had in there, turning the sound and you can hear the message

“What the heck is ‘yes’ supposed to mean?” You started as he starts pressing the app to send you another message and you groaned “just tell me”

“I’m Kidding?” You read aloud and scrunched your nose “What the heck is that supposed to be? Tell me Taeil!” you yelled and moved slap your phone away from him when he tries to type a new code “Tell me, do you like me or not?” he stares at you “Was it a joke or were you serious?”

He looks at you in shock as you angrily told him those words, why were the you taking this seriously? you don’t like him, right? then why are you so angry? why is it affecting you? “What’s it have to do with you?” 

“Taeil just tell me”

“Why do you need to know if its a joke or not?”

“Just tell me”

“Why? You’re dating someone right now right? why do you need to know?”

“Taeil I’m not..”

“No, tell me why” You opened your mouth when your phone on the floor of Taeil’s room started buzzing, speak of the devil, your phone flashed with his name and it mad Taeil’s blood boil even more when you stood up to take your phone, he grabbed it from your hands before you could answer and threw it to the side, grabbing your wrist and pulling you back on the bed, keeping you there, a hand on your wrist and the other on your waist “Tell me”

You glared at him gripping his collar “What the hell is wrong with you?” You asked angrily “You’ve been salty ever since I asked if I could stay over! You don’t want me here? That’s fine, tell me, you don’t need to let me stay when you clearly don’t want me here!” You’re chest heaved and he could tell you’re just starting “you wanna know why I want to know the truth from you? Cause I care for you more then what a friend, a sibling should do. I hate seeing you with Kim Kochan or Lee Robin those two flirt with you on a basis, you know that right? they cling and keep you all for themselves and I hate it! I hate how fast my heart beats when you smile or when you buy me snacks cause they’re my-”

He cuts you off with a swift kiss to your lips. How could he not, you just confessed you liked him albeit angrily, you still confessed. His lips moved slowly against yours and you froze, your mind on hyperdrive, ‘till he pulled away “I like you too but you’re really loud when you’re upset, we shou-”

You rolled your eyes and pulled his collar, making him crash into you, kissing him again, this time you slowly moved your lips against his, his hands snaking around your waist, to pull you closer, your arms wrapping around his neck

He licks your bottom lip, you groaned softly and he happily sticks his tongue in, gently brushing over your tongue, making you slightly whine and he grins, keeping hold of your as you both play tongue-sies

He pulls away, a string of saliva being the only thing connecting you both before he groans softly at the sight “I love you” he breathes before leaning to trail kisses down your jaw and neck making you tilt your head upward giving him more room. He smiles at the shudder before gripping your waist and pulling on it to make you go up and straddle him “Taeil” you gasped at how bold he was being and he chuckles 

“Say it” he whispers against your ear licking a stripe on it while a hand travels under your shirt making you gasp at the coldness of his hand and the heat of your body, and he smiles “Please? Need to hear you say it”

“Really at a situation like this?” You huff and he only grins at you making you whine “I’ll tell you later, ok?” You tugged on his shirt, in a silent way to command him to do something, and only met with a shake of his head “Taeil” You whined again “fine, I love you too you big dork”

He smiles and happily kissed you again, holding you close before taking your shirt off and giving you everything you asked, encouraging him with every tug of his hair, a gasp and a moan of his name. He was addicted, he never wanted to stop to make you so whiny and needy and putty in his arms

He was happy that night, well dawn, finally having you in his arms, your neck covered in nothing but his marks, and he can see from his position your bruised waist. Oh and his hair, it was in pain, from the way you would pull and tug on it but he loved it, only reminding him that it was all real, his arms and shoulders were bruised but he just smiles at the slight sting before tightening his hold on your waist and kissing the shell of your ear

“No more” you whined and pouted “Please? I am so tired” you begged cupping his cheeks and he couldn’t help it he kissed your palms 

“Stop” he bit his lip and looked at you all wide eyed, seeing your expression, your marks and looking absolutely fucked that he swung his legs over and kissed your nose “Just, just one more, ok? one more round”

“Dad!” Taeil grumbled “Are you serious right now?”

His dad nods “Yes” He points a finger at his chest “Don’t get me wrong, I don’t care if you are sleeping around, as long as you don’t get STD’s or have a failing grade” He reminds “But any other than that, you’re free to do anything you want. You’re mother and I back in college, we had out share of fun”

Taeil covers his ears “no! no no, I don’t need to know, I don’t need to know my birth story, I don't need to know how sexy mom was, I am seriously going to run away screaming”

“Stop being a baby” His dad says and hits him upside the head, “I’m just saying, when you would sleep with someone, you stay over their place not the other way around, so I was wondering who is that? My son’s special someone? and also, I heard everything lastnight so I’m pretty sure it is a special person, and I wanted to ask if they’ll stay the morning cause, It’s my turn to make breakfast and I wanna know if I should add one more serving”

All of a sudden an excited squeal leaves his mother’s lips as she excitedly ran down the stairs and tackled Taeil “I am so proud of you” She praises and kisses him on the forehead “So so Proud”

“What happened?” His dad asks and She spins to look at her husband 

“It’s Y/n”

He blinks and looks at his son then his wife, around the same time the mom clinged once again to Taeil, “I have been shipping you both since you two were in the womb, I waited twenty one years for the two of you to get together” she squeals and hugs him “Even better you both slept with each other, Honey, cook an extra serving for Y/n. And Taeil good job, satisfying your partners needs in bed is much more important, I approve”

“Mom!” Taeil groans 

“Do you think Their parent’s know? we should invite them , lets go invite them!”
